Leaving my office job

Okay, so I haven’t actually left. But I have been working really hard to do so. I have been applying for jobs weekly, I take extra courses on the side so I am more even employable. I have had interviews, reaching out to people who I want to work with or for. And now, we wait!
While I have been looking for jobs since September 2021, nothing seems to be catching. While I am being a bit picky in the sense of distance from home, work from home or remote, flexibility, part time or full time, salary etc. They are all important to me and will add value or a benefit to my mental health. I know that there are companies out there that care for their people and see the value in it. So, i’m here, i’m waiting and i’m applying and it will happen. I know it will.

While I should’ve left a long time ago, theres no point in dwelling on that now. I am where I am at. All I can do is recognize what was wrong and to not take another job that has those red flags!

I hope that with the New Year bringing big energy and the drive to be a better and best you that you are doing the things you need to do to keep your mental and physical health well.
