2023 Hey?
Around this time of year I have gotten into the habit of planning out an activity or something for each month of the year.
I do this so I always have something to look forward to. It is a nice way of getting your head out of the winter blues. It can vary what you would like to plan. I like to plan trips specifically. I can plan ahead and save accordingly for each trip.
What I like to do is separate each month and then break down how I would like to spend my time. Activities, trips, and then also who I would like to the activities with. I plan out in advance to also let people know in advance and they can start anticipating.
2023:
January - Trip: Calgary, AB | Activities: Climbing, running, yoga
February - Trip: Snowboarding Fernie, BC | Activities: XC Skiing, Running, Back to the Gym!
March - Trip: Mexico 7 days | Activities: XC Skiing, Climbing, running more*, Weight lifting with Ashley
April - Trip: Toronto 3 days | Activities: Climbing, running (even more)*
May - Trip: Potential Montreal Trip 4 days | Activities: Climbing, Hiking, Backcountry camping, biking, running outside starts!
June - Trip: Multiple backcountry camping on weekends | Activities: Climbing, running, hiking, biking, mountaineering
July - Trip: Multiple backcountry camping on weekends | Activities: Climbing, running, hiking, biking, mountaineering
August - Trip: Backcountry Camping (longer trips), beach days, mountaineering, hikes, late nights!
September - Trip: Vancouver 3 days | Activities: Climbing, running, biking
October - Trip: Edmonton Adventures on the weekends
November - Trip: Mountains - Weekend Away | Activities: Climbing, Snowshoeing, XC Skiing
December - Trip: Mountains - Camping, Hut, Or Hotel | Activities: Snowshoeing, XC Skiing, climbing
While all of the trips and activities may or may not work out, at least I have an idea of where my interests are and if anything changes we go with the flow!
